Thursday Night Music: Curated by Tree Palmedo

Join us for the first show in the Tree Palmedo series! We're excited to welcome Tree back to the studio. During 2021, Tree's Drinking Bird project was a monthly staple apart of our ongoing music series. He's done so much work since then and we're excited for what's to come this season.

Tree Palmedo is a Brooklyn-based musician and songwriter. As a trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist, he has performed and toured with acclaimed indie music projects like Fleet Foxes, Sloppy Jane, The World Is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, and Ben Zaidi. Additionally, he is active in the NYC jazz and experimental music scenes with bands like Tredici Bacci, Drinking Bird, Grace Bergere, and more, and he has composed for theater, podcasts, and dance. His band Peaceful Faces has released 3 albums; their most recent was recognized by publications including NPR and PopMatters.

Conceived by drummer Eli Cohen, Autobody is an instrumental afrobeat/synth-pop band that tends towards long-form dance music. Kind of like if Philip Glass, Yasutaka Nakata and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) had an afrobeat band.

Radio Brass is an immersive, acoustic radio band led by trumpet player and composer, Matt Hull.
