Cue is an hour-long dance theater work that places the audience inside a rehearsal, with four performers following a mysteriously prescribed script. They repeat, forget, and question their lines and actions as they test when to lead or follow, and when to continue or pause.

Sasha Marlan-Librett is a NYC-based dancer and choreographer with a BA in Dance and Philosophy from Scripps College. She has collaborated with Kevin Williamson, Rosanna Tavarez, and Rebecca Lemme, and performed with Monica Bill Barnes + Co. at the American Dance Festival. In New York, Sasha trained with Gibney PRO and creates dance-theater works with her company, TAQ Dance. Her work has been presented at Gibney, Dixon Place, Mark Morris Dance Center, Arts on Site, Privy Gallery, and Creature Space. She has choreographed two dance films for Soap Impressions, including MMM, which won Best Experimental Short at the New York Short Film Festival. Sasha has received residencies from Certain Bird and Mark Morris, most recently touring Cue at Odyssey Theatre’s Dance Festival in Los Angeles.

About Green Lung Studio

Green Lung Studio was built by two artists who wanted a place to try things—loudly, quietly, imperfectly. Not a venue. Not a theater. A playground. A lab. A home. We know what it’s like to scrape by in a city that forgets its artists. So we made the kind of space we always needed—a place to test ideas, build weird things, and share the mess with people who get it.

Green Lung Studio has year round dance, music, cinema and more. Stay up to date at greenlungstudio.com or @greenlungstudio on Instagram.
